DTF Artwork & File Preparation

Correctly prepared artwork helps Fresh DTF produce clean, detailed, and professional DTF gang sheets. Please review the following requirements before building or uploading your gang sheet.

Recommended File Format

Submit your artwork as a PNG file with a transparent background. PNG files preserve transparency and are recommended for DTF printing.

Do not upload artwork with an unwanted white or coloured background unless that background is intended to be part of the printed design.

Resolution Requirements

Artwork should be prepared at 300 DPI at the intended printing size. A small, low-resolution image does not become print quality simply by increasing its dimensions or changing it to 300 DPI.

Low-resolution files may appear pixelated, blurry, rough around the edges and missing fine details

Always review your artwork at its final size before submitting.

Artwork Size

Create each design at the exact size you want it printed. Confirm the width and height of every design before adding it to your gang sheet.

Fresh DTF will generally print artwork at the size submitted. We are not responsible for designs ordered at an incorrect size.

Transparent Background

Remove the complete background from your artwork before uploading it. Check carefully for white boxes, coloured backgrounds, tray pixels, unwanted shadows, and rough edges.

Any visible artwork included in your file may be printed.

Colour Settings

RGB colour mode is recommended when preparing PNG artwork. Colours displayed on monitors, phones, and tablets may look different when printed because screens use light to display colour.

Exact colour matching is not guaranteed unless a separate colour-matching service has been confirmed.

Fine Details and Small Text

Avoid extremely thin lines, very small text, and tiny isolated details. Elements that are too small or too thin may not print or transfer clearly.

Make sure all text is readable and that important details are large enough for the intended print size.

Do Not Mirror Your Artwork

Submit your gang sheet in its normal reading direction. Do not mirror or reverse the artwork unless Fresh DTF specifically instructs you to do so.

Artwork Editing

Background removal, resizing, recreation, or other artwork corrections are not automatically included with printing. If artwork assistance is available, it may require an additional fee and increase production time.

Copyright and Permission

You must own the submitted artwork or have permission to reproduce it. By uploading a file, you confirm that you have the legal right to print its designs, logos, images, and text.

Fresh DTF may refuse artwork that appears to violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
